The stroller in this combo is a great stroller that folds up easy and is lighter than many of the strollers out there used in travel systems. I love that the harness in the stroller allows your older child to lean forward and have more freedom - while still being secure. On the other hand, I wish I had researched the car seat more before purchasing this travel system. Dislikes on the car seat are below:
- It is the heaviest car seat I have ever carried. Now that I HAVE picked up other people's car seats and now that I HAVE a baby in it ;) Be prepared to work your biceps and strain your back at the same time.
- My 8 month daughter is almost 28 inches and her legs are starting to lose room. It looks like she won't even make it till her 1st birthday in this car seat.
- The straps on the car seat become tangled ALL THE TIME. So frustrating.
- The lock in and unlock feature from the carseat to the base is verrrryyyy hard at times and all the jerking wakes the sleeping bundle of joy....
- If that isn't enough, after you finally release it from the base, lug it's heavy self out of the vehicle, it is most often difficult to snap into the stroller. Rarely, has the entire transition from one phase to the next been easy. Not difficult, but definitely not worth the money!
Now shopping for a convertible seat since this one will not last much longer and is driving me crazy.
