I purchased this to help contain my 9 week old puppy at times. It did arrive promptly and was easy to carry and set up. I found the gate area a little difficult to use as the rest of the surround would move a bit, especially when closing. The worst part was that on the very first day of use, my puppy was able to push the whole thing about 4 or 5 feet as she tried to get out. She then squeezed through the spaces between the panels and got out. I witnessed the event and thought this was very unsafe for my puppy and probably would be for small children as well. There is definitely a risk of injury. Even though it is portrayed as being usable for both small children and small pets, I would only consider this for the youngest of infants who are not yet crawling and only as a protection to keep other things out. Even then, other young children or pets could probably push the play yard over or about the room, still risking injury. I would not recommend this to anyone!

I spent a LOT of time reviewing various food processors before selecting this one. Kitchen Aid has a model that was recommended by many but I personally didn't like the design. Not that it is a big deal for most people, but my personal preference leaned towards the click push down buttons on this model vs the soft buttons on the Kitchen Aid. In addition, I didn't care to have the small bowl option inside the larger bowl. To me it seems like more possible clean up because the small bowl fits inside the larger one. I'm not sure that it causes you to have to clean the larger bowl, but that's the way it appears and I didn't care to try it.



This food processor has been in my kitchen for nearly two years now. I use if for several different things including salsa and pesto. Even though the liquid limit is relatively low (which seems to be the case with all processors) I am able to process a full batch with one 28 oz can of tomatoes, then add a second can. If the batch is transferred quickly to a container there is little to no problem with the liquid overflowing. If it sits for a bit, that much liquid is a problem.



When I buy cheese I buy in blocks and shred with this processor. Recently I needed to slice beef for beef jerky and I thought I would use my slicer/shredder attachment for my Bosch mixer. However, the food chute for the larger Bosch bowl was not as big as the chute on this Cuisinart. The Cuisinart worked great to slice beef quickly in just the right size for jerky.



The attachments are easy to use and adding liquid during processing is easy to do. The fact that the chute is toward the back bothered me at first but ultimately it really didn't become a big deal. I would consider this a great basic processor for any home. To me, that makes it a great buy and a great possible gift to newlyweds or for those with a new home.

Bought the walker for our 7.5 months old daugther. The size was right - when height is on medium setting, her feet touches the ground, so it is probably good for 5-12 months range. Toys on the tray are nice - she plays with them. One problem that we have with the walker - it goes backwards whe she tries to walks. Dont' know if it is common problem with walkers. Whe she sits in it, she pushes her feet into the floor and this thing just slides away in stead of moving forward. Our baby looks surprized, because she was trying to walk towards somethings, not away, so this upsets her. So we've put the walker on the carpet where it cannot slide (in case you dont' know- the walker doesn't really work on the carpet) and use it as an activity chair.

I bought this because it had good reviews and because the kitchen aid and cusinart ones didn't. However, it didn't do what I expected a $300 machine to do. I didn't realise that the one touch button meant it was just on or off (my mistake), it won't grind hard spices not just because it destroys the plastic but it just can't do it. In fact it can't pulverise anything. I tried to make garlic paste but it wouldn't do it. It does slice really well, really quick, and really thin although there is quite a bit of waste.

If you use the small bowl it sprays a little bit into the big bowl which means you have to wash the whole thing.
